Request a Speaker
Now is a great time to talk about human trafficking.
Our Speakers Bureau is a team of educators, healthcare professionals, law enforcement and NJCAHT experts from around the state. Their pro bono HT 101 presentations and talks cover a range of topics pertaining to human trafficking, such as understanding coercive control, red flags/identification, prevention, internet safety, and what we can all do.
We also have a team of Survivor Leaders who can share their expertise as lived experience experts. Honorariums are required for our Survivor Leaders. Any group requesting a Survivor Speaker must have an HT 101 beforehand.
Please submit your request for a speaker at least 3 weeks in advance of your event.
- We accept requests for in-person or virtual HT 101 trainings and survivor speakers, and can provide a Zoom link if needed.
- Any group must have an HT 101 before hearing from a survivor speaker.
- We offer grants to NJ schools (K-12) to make it possible to request a survivor speaker.
- Speakers can also bring brochures and other materials if requested.
If you are looking for someone to TABLE ONLY (display awareness brochures and other materials) at your event, our Outreach Committee will arrange that.
Joining the Coalition’s Speakers Bureau is both a fun and rewarding experience. We educate communities and professionals about human trafficking and call them into action to help save lives.
Honorarium Donations
Our Speakers Bureau volunteers donate their time to educate communities so that everyone can be empowered with essential information about the issue of human trafficking. If community groups would like to make a donation towards our work, speakers gratefully accept honoraria on behalf of the NJCAHT. A donation can be handed directly to speakers (checks made payable to NJCAHT), mailed to our registered address, or may be paid via credit card on the link below.
Please note that survivor speakers must receive an honorarium.
